Begin the year with the tangible experience of blessing the challenges and joys of the year ahead.
A blessing is an offering toward an intention, a benediction, or grace. Poet John O’Donohue offers a wonderful clarity about the nature of blessings in his book, To Bless the Space Between Us. His lovely interview may be a helpful encouragement for this retreat: The Inner Landscape of Beauty.
Here are a couple of John’s blessings:
- Blessing for a Friend on the Arrival of an Illness
- Beannacht from old Irish meaning benediction or blessing
For this retreat we’ll be invited to our own way of blessing the way forward into 2019.
There will be gentle mindful yoga practice, sitting meditation practice, progressive relaxation practice, kind group exercises, periods of reflection and conversation and more.
Please RSVP so we have enough space for all!
Thanks! — Brant
