Holiday Gentle Mindful Yoga – Wednesday Mornings
Dec 12 @ 10:30 am – 11:45 am

A safe and friendly introduction to yoga, appropriate for those wanting to try an accessible form of yoga or for those who have had injuries in the past. We will practice movements that teach yoga alignment in ways that are available to most everyone. We will practice relaxation as well as develop strength and flexibility. Easy and modified yoga poses will be explored. Your physician should release you for general physical activity.

Holiday Mindful Bellydance as Self-Care
Dec 12 @ 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm

In this series you will begin learning and practicing the postures, shapes and isolations that make up the foundation of strong bellydance technique.  Throughout this series we will also be exploring bellydance as a tool to increase mindfulness as we build new pathways for communication between the mind and body.  Bellydance, especially in this holiday series, is an empowering and healing form of movement that will help you connect deeply with your body in a loving and healthy way.

This series welcomes absolute beginners or anyone wanting to explore the restorative and meditative side of bellydance.

Gentle mindful movement practice, progressive relaxation, contemplative practice, shared stillness, kind conversation and readings as we share the evening of reflecting and moving toward a new year.

To Bless the Way Forward: New Year’s Day Retreat

Begin the year with the tangible experience of blessing the challenges and joys of the year ahead.

A blessing is an offering toward an intention, a benediction, or grace.  Poet John O’Donohue offers a wonderful clarity about the nature of blessings in his book, To Bless the Space Between Us.   His lovely interview may be a helpful encouragement for this retreat:  The Inner Landscape of Beauty.

For this retreat we’ll be invited to our own way of blessing the way forward into 2019.

There will be gentle mindful yoga practice, sitting meditation practice, progressive relaxation practice, kind group exercises, periods of reflection and conversation and more.
