Holiday Yoga Ball (Class)

Welcome to the Holiday Yoga Ball (class) where we will explore postures and movements on yoga balls.  There are so many ways and invariably there is a lot of joy in the air as we test the edges of balance, strength, flexibility and wackiness.  More of a beginning-level class for those who want to be a bit lively.

Whatever ball gown or holiday garb you choose it should be suitable for lots of movement!

Holiday Pass or drop in, $15.

A Healthy Brain: The Be-Well Gathering Holiday Term
Dec 2 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Health and well-being is a global state; heart, mind and body.  There are so many dimension to our state of health that a lot of mystery is always at play.  This is much more so for that place between our ears.

Let’s delve into some of that mystery and watch a TED talk or two about the state of understanding our brains and how help keep them healthy.

Then let’s talk over what we learn about how to care for ourselves and others.

A safe and friendly introduction to yoga, appropriate for those wanting to try an accessible form of yoga or for those who have had injuries in the past. We will practice movements that teach yoga alignment in ways that are available to most everyone. We will practice relaxation as well as develop strength and flexibility. Easy and modified yoga poses will be explored. Your physician should release you for general physical activity.
